Jacques HEIMS and Guy Hector

Updated: May 16

Jacques Heim has been a transformative Director for over 20 years, founding DIAVOLO in 1992, newly renamed DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion®, and has directed the Company’s work ever since.

Guy has known Jacques for over 20 years, meeting him in Los Angeles in the 1990s backstage at one of his signature Diavolo shows and the friendship was immediate.

Did You Know....

Jacques Heim is named directly after his grandfather, the late and revolutionary fashion designer, who in 1946 launched the first ever two piece bathing suit called Atome, later renamed The Bikini, and also invented le pret a porter, or Ready to Wear.

In 2004, Mr. Heim choreographed KÀ for Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas; a destination show featuring apparatus inspired by DIAVOLO structures and architecture.

When Guy was asked what he thinks of Jacques, Guy states, " I love this man who is so funny, creative, smart, generous and spirited. His energy fills a room and I love that he wants to help veterans in his newest production, S.O.S.: SIGNS OF STRENGTH

Heim is not a dancer or acrobat but calls himself an “architect of motion”.

Here are some of Guy's videos from an amazing performance.
