Kelly Berg

I had the pleasure to view Kelly Berg's work on display at The Santa Monica College Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery that presented "Textured Environments," a two-person exhibition of mixed media works that occupy the territory between painting and sculpture, created by artists Caroline Larsen and Kelly Berg.

I Feel Her Her Work is an Optical Spectacle. Best described as a Spiritual and Intellectual impact of landscape on human consciousness.

You can feel The power and gravity of nature accentuated by the sculptural element she incorporates into her paintings.

The sculptural element also set up the dichotomy of land versus landscape

I am fascinated and mesmerized by her work and the energy emitted by the textural elements in her paintings.

Here are some of my favorite photos of the evening.
